Prayer Requests

Please pray for Pam Dominguez’ family in the Philippines.  The unexpected typhoon that hit the Philippines Friday night hit her island and destroyed many homes.  Pray also for the disciples who have been affected by the storm, especially those who just moved there for the mission team.  So far,  650 people were killed as the authorities continue to search for many others who are missing.

Please Continue to Pray for the Following:

  • Comfort and peace for Amanda Poerschke and her family due to the loss of her father, Randy.
  • A quick and complete recovery for Bill Hooper, one of the elders in the Dallas Church, who had a heart procedure done last week.
  • A quick recovery for Laura Escobar who had arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
  • John and Mary Lou King (Laura Escobar co-workers) who lost their son recently.
  • A full recovery for Robert Mendoza, who with the help of God overcame a near
fatal bout with low blood count.
  • Encouragement and comfort for Jency and Archer Taliaferro and the entire family.
  • The disciples in Abidjan.  See latest updates at www.icochotnews.com.
  • Our 2020 Vision for Texas and the 2012 World Discipleship Summit.
  • Those who are chronically ill in our congregation.

Kids Kingdom

If you have not served in the kids’ program at any time in past, please see Judy Fabilenia to pick up an application.  If you have served over a year ago, please complete an update form.

Monthly Assistants:  Please arrive by 9:00 am during the month you are selected to serve.  If you are selected and are unable to serve, please contact Trudy Mencke as soon as possible at missionpointchristianchurch@gmail.com so you can be replaced.

Kids’ Program Calendar:  There will be no children’s classes until January 8, 2010.  On that day, the campus ministry will oversee the classes.  The regularly scheduled classes will resume on January 15, 2012.

We are also in need of volunteers for the upcoming rotation.  More information will be provided.
