Why do you rent facilities instead of owning?
The congregation gave generously towards mission work in the 1990′s, and made the hiring of staff a priority. Because of this focus on people rather than property, the church grew rather quickly. We never did manage, however, to get a property. Still, over the last several years it has become apparent that owning a property would have some advantages for us. We are in the process of both saving up and looking around for the right property. We are admittedly taking it slow, still focusing on growing the church first. We’ll see what the Lord brings us. While we have looked at several properties, we have not yet found the one we are looking for.
