In a culture that often rushes past grief, Scripture invites us to slow down and practice the sacred art of lament. In God’s presence, we are invited to bring all of our sorrow, questions, pain, and hope.
Join us as a church family for an evening of reflection, prayer, worship, and lament. Whether you’re carrying personal grief, burdens for others, or simply want to learn this important spiritual practice, all are welcome.

Hosanna in the highest. 🌿 The crowds waved palm branches expecting a conquering king.
Jesus came as a humble Savior.
Not to take power… but to give himself in love.
As we begin Holy Week, may we see him for who he truly is.
The King who brings peace.

Please stay safe and help us spread the word to anyone who may not see this message 🙏🙌
There’s a wisdom that shows how we are becoming like Christ. James says true wisdom is pure, peace-loving, considerate, full of mercy, and it produces good fruit. The sermon on Sunday called us to Christ-like conviction & unity- a church marked by humility, peace, and the steady work of sowing righteousness together.
How are our convictions shaping the way we love?

Abraham and Sarah didn’t know how the story would unfold—but they trusted the Author.
They laughed with God, stumbled forward in faith, and believed in a promise bigger than themselves.
Sometimes the most heroic thing we can do is put one foot in front of the other, trusting the God who is faithful to a thousand generations.

God called—and Abram went. No details, no roadmap, just trust. Genesis 12:1 stops us in our tracks. His obedience wasn’t loud, but it was radical.
May we be amazed—and moved—to follow with that same quiet courage.

Steve Schmit always with the jokes, both in conversation as well as during his sermons! All jokes aside, we love you Herve and Janet! 🙏 We have been so blessed with you both.
#MissionPoint #SundayJokes #Abraham
This Sunday, Steve Schmit walked us through God’s Covenant with Abraham– God’s Divine Commitment and Abraham’s Response.
Abraham’s story reminds us that God’s promises endure, even when fulfillment feels distant or uncertain. His faith journey began with a bold step into the unknown, leaving behind the familiar in obedience to God’s call—an invitation we too are given as we navigate our own path of trust and surrender. Most importantly, we’re reminded that God’s covenant is not a reward for righteousness but a gift of grace.
Like Abraham, we are invited into relationship with God not because of what we’ve done, but because of what He has done for us.
Where might God be calling you to step out in faith, trusting in His promise rather than your own certainty?
